You can share responsibility for managing community channels and moderating the content among Moderators and Channel Owners.
Figure 1. Different people can play different roles in a Community channel - owner, moderator or member.
Each role has different responsibilities and privileges that can be customized in Campus Settings. See Fine-Tune Community Roles with Campus Settings.
Once you have set the permissions in Campus Settings, use the Member List to put channel members into different roles. See Promote channel members to moderators or channel owners.
If someone is not a member of the channel, you can invite them, and once they join, you can promote them to a member or moderator: see Invite Someone to a Channel.
You might be invited to join other channels yourself: see Respond to a Channel Invitation.
You can use the member list to see the status of your invites you have sent. Once the invitees accept your invitation, the member list will show a new moderator (or owner). When the new moderator logs in, they will find they have additional privileges in the channel.
