You can use Service Provider Assessment to track how students interact with campus services. You can gather feedback on individual service providers and record information about who is using those services and for how long.
There are several ways you can check people in to a service provider:
- Create a check-in kiosk for attendees to interact with as they arrive
- Share a link that people can click or tap from a desktop or mobile device
- Print or share a QR code that people can scan with the campus app
Each of these methods records the name and time of a person's attendance. If you have feedback turned on for a service provider, the student will be prompted to provide feedback after their visit. This information is available for you to review in Campus Cloud.
Create a Check-In Kiosk
You can use Campus Cloud to create a check-in kiosk for your service provider. You can station the kiosk close to the entrance, to take attendance as students arrive. A kiosk can be a mobile phone, a tablet, or a desktop computer, but it must be connected to the internet.
You can display a QR code that students can scan with the campus app. You can also use a person's email address to check them in, if they do not have the campus app.
To create a check-in kiosk:
- Create your service provider and turn assessment on by following the steps here: Create a Service Provider with Feedback
- In the "Self Check-In Methods" menu, select "QR Scan" to let students scan in by QR code at the kiosk.
- Save your service provider
To get the shareable link:
- Click Manage, then click Services
- Find your service provider in the list, and click its name to edit
- Click "Check-in" then click "Kiosk Check-In"
Campus Cloud displays a web page you can display at the check-in kiosk.

Share a Link
You can create a sharable link for your service provider. Students can check in to your service provider by tapping the link. If you have enabled check-in and check-out, the student can click or tap again to check out.
Students can use shareable links with or without the campus app. Students who do not have the app will be prompted to check in by email. The link will work on a desktop computer or mobile phone.
To use a sharable link to check students in:
- Create your service provider and turn assessment on by following the steps here: Create a Service Provider with Feedback
- In the "Self Check-In Methods" menu, select "App Link Check-in"
- Save your service provider
To get the shareable link:
- Click Manage, then click Services
- Find your service provider in the list and click its name to edit
- Click "Check-in" then click "Kiosk Check-In"
Campus Cloud displays the shareable link in a field called Self Check-In. To share the link, click Copy, then paste it the link into an email or chat program. Students (or anyone) can follow the link to check in and out of the service provider.
Print or Share a QR Code
You can create a 2-dimensional barcode, or QR code, that students can scan using the campus app. This checks the student in to the service provider and automatically registers them on the attendance list.
If you have enabled check-in and check-out, the student can scan the QR code again to check out.
To use a QR code to check students in:
- Create your service provider and turn assessment on by following the steps here: Create a Service Provider with Feedback
- In the "Self Check-In Methods" menu, select "QR Scan"
- Save your service provider
To get the QR code:
- Find your service provider in the list, and click "Check-In"
Campus Cloud shows a page with the QR code for your service provider, and a "Download QR Code" button at the top.
Students can use the campus app to scan the QR code from your screen. Or you can download a QR code to print it and post copies near the entrance to a service provider.
