Your campus app includes a map of buildings and landmarks around your campus. You can build up this map by creating map locations in Campus Cloud -- see Create a Map Location.
There are many reasons to make a list of campus locations:
1) The campus app includes a map, easily available to students. It shows the important points you designate.
Talk to your Customer Success representative about using the campus guide to give students direct access to the map of your campus locations. You can deliver a map of important campus locations directly to students.
2) Club owners can create events, and easily choose a location on campus.
Students who create events for their clubs can choose from the list of campus locations you create, reducing the chance that students will be sent to the wrong place.
3) Service executives can also use the campus map.
Having a well-developed list of campus locations makes it easy to set up campus services and service providers, and easy to create events at those locations.
4) Telling students about places on your campus can help them feel connected to your institution and engaged in their learning.
If the walls of your institution could talk, what stories would they tell? You can set points of interest on your map to act as waypoints on your students' educational journeys.
