Version 1.10.2 introduces functional enhancements to Community, as well as several accessibility improvements and bug fixes.
🌟 Optimizing images attached to posts in Community
Attaching an image to a post now reduces the file size of that image when viewing it as a thumbnail. This performance optimization increases load time for users scanning through channels on their Campus App. It is the final pre-requisite to rolling out our "rich text editor" to Community, which will let Admins to attach campus content (forms and resources) to a post, provide alt text for images, and generate embedded YouTube videos simply by pasting in the video's URL.
🌟 Shareable links to filtered views of Community
When an Admin filters Community by any combination of criteria, they can now copy/share the unique URL so that others can open the same pre-filtered view. This also means that the filtered view will persist when you navigate away-then-back to the results, or if you refresh your browser.
Please note that the chat widget behind the “Help” link has been retired. The link now takes you directly to a form where you can submit a question to Support. We are currently migrating our Service Desk to a new platform, at which point we'll re-introduce "chat" as a way to engage with Support.
