You can engage with community channels on behalf of an organization, service, or athletic club (a host) that you manage. Hosts can post in channels such as the Student Feed, the Buy & Sell channel, and the News channel. Hosts can have channels of their own, where you can post messages as your host and interact with student conversations there.
To post in the channel as that host, you must have permission to manage the host. You must also be a community manager, channel owner, or moderator to post in a channel as that host. For more information, see "Roles and Permissions" below.
The Use As menu (at the top of the navigation sidebar) allows you to post in the community as yourself or as a host that you manage. Here are the steps:
- Login to Campus Cloud and click Community
- Click the "Use As" menu at the top of the navigation sidebar
- Click Select Host
- Choose your host from the list.
Campus Cloud updates to show a list of public and private channels available for you to post in as that host. If a group channel is available, it appears at the bottom of the list, under the heading "Groups."
A host must be added to a channel before you can post on behalf of it. For more information, see: Add a host to a channel.
